Giant Group Managing Director Faruque Hassan named Consul General of Greece

Faruque, who is also the president of the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has contributed greatly to the RMG sector.

He has served BGMEA as director, vice-president and senior vice-president.

In a statement on Thursday, Hassan said he believes Bangladesh will not achieve its targeted growth by the cost of environment.
He aspires to make the country’s RMG industry a role model of green industrialisation in the world.
